Interview With Andy Hoffman – Bitcoin, Crypto Assets and Decentralization

As most of you surely know by now, I believe a positive future for humanity requires a total displacement of the current centralized, authoritarian, and hierarchal paradigm. I believe decentralized, peer-to-peer, trustless systems will play an instrumental role in bringing about a much more free, honest and transparent system that will lead to immense human progress.

If you have any interest in the above topics, I strongly suggest listening to the interview below.

  2. I agree with so much of everything Mike talks about. He is very good at pointing out the reasons we need to change what is going on here in America. His solution of Bitcoin or Crypto currency is where I somewhat disagree. We both agree that the Central Banks have way to much power, money and influence and are destroying the middle class’s wealth prospects in our country. Sometimes it is best to just take action. To do something to make things right. I see crypto as the fast and quick solution with immediate results. So I can’t fault the action taken by the Crypto community and many people have gotten rewarded in wealth with bitcoin. It is a way to win the battle and weaken the Central Bankers but if we want to win the war we have to bring back our American Money from our treasury and END THE FED!!!. We also need to end financial contributions of all types in politics especially with lobbyists. Votes should influence those in Washington and not the greed money brings.

With both political parties totally corrupt and unrepairable we need to start a new political party with the core principle of getting the money out of politics and ending the FED. In order for this new party to succeed it needs to appeal to both the left and the right. The new party has to stay neutral and accepting of both sides to draw in the numbers needed to win. I believe this goal of mine is achievable. Patience is needed. It may take decades for this new party to gain the strength it needs to win and control Washington. But I see no way to win the war without a new political party built on strong morals, integrity and principles that built this country over two hundred years ago in the first place.

  3. Every year some wealthy Elitist group decides they want certain laws passed that benefit there special interest. Over decades of time these laws don’t even benefit the people that created them ten years ago or so. But the laws aren’t removed from the books. So we get millions of pages of rules and regulations. The average person is only wiling to sit down and read three books in a year of about 300 pages each book or 900 pages. In his lifetime he might read 15,000 pages at most but he only remembers maybe 10% of that at the most or 1500 pages. This is out of millions of pages of laws and regulation he is expected to follow. And he has to read the books over and over to just comprehend 1500 pages. So now some lawyer comes along and spends most of his life memorizing a small portion of the rules and regulations. He wants $300 an hour to represent the average person in court to defend him for breaking a law that the said person has no idea it even existed.

This problem starts out in the schools. I spend my time learning from and analyzing books to see what makes sense and comparing whats in the books to what works well in the real world. I have built race cars and race bikes, award winning heating systems and saved my clients mega dollars in fuel bills while reducing co2 with my heating designs.

Now a days learning is all about memorization. A skill you need to survive in this crazy world. The rules are thrown at you and the more you memorize the better are the grades you get. There are 8 different types of intelligence and various offshoots of them. The school system teaches in a manner that caters to the ones that have great memorization skills. These students go on and graduate only to write new rules and regulations to follow. The other students with different types of intelligence and learning style fall behind and get disappointed in the system.

This all makes things harder for the visual born to build thinkers like me. Original ideas fail because the rules don’t apply. I have developed a World Wide Energy Efficiency Building Standard. No one even has the brain capacity to recognize or even understand what I have to offer. That is extremely frustrating to me. The rules they memorized don’t work or apply to the methods I have used to reduce huge chunks of co2 at a very cheap cost. Instead they try and force me to change the way I design heating systems to fit there rules. Yet my designs were so far different that it wasn’t really possible. Yet I produced Superior results. I was even told that my radiant heating designs won’t work in a tightly built house. I was told this over and over again while architects and builders rejected my designs. Yet I had lots of highly comfortable and energy efficient radiant heating systems operating in tight houses. In Europe the majority of homes being built were tight and energy efficient and had radiant heating.

But who wants to listen to me. I didn’t memorize the rules properly.

So as Ayn Rand says “I shrugged”
