Joe Biden Spends $585,000 for a One Night Stay in Paris

Your tax dollars at work!  I can’t wait until they start telling the population that we need collective sacrifice, while the political oligarchs act like Louis the XVI and Marie Antoinette in 1789.  Oh, and he recently spent $459,000 for a night in London as well!  No worries, the night in Paris is only 9,0000 times more than the total real income gains of the bottom 90% of America since 1966.  Repeat after me: USA! USA!

From the Huffington Post:

A $585,000.50 bill for one night at a hotel is either the result of an unimaginable amount of room service, or, if you’re a member of Vice President Joe Biden’s posse, it’s just another night in Paris.

That’s per a contract awarded to the Hotel Intercontinental Paris Le Grand, which hosted Biden’s one-night stay during a diplomatic trip to Europe in early February.

The official added, “The contract costs cover the entire range of support, including accommodations for military, communications, secret service staff, and other support professionals. Security experts are also required to travel in advance of the president or vice president. Safety and security are not negotiable.”

A second contract, unearthed by The Weekly Standard, shows Biden’s stay in London was a (comparative) bargain, costing taxpayers just $459,338.65, more than $100,000 cheaper than his night in Paris.

Serfs up baby!

  1. And both Biden and Obama gave to charity as a percentage much less than I did before they ran for president. They were giving in some years, less than 2% while having incomes exceeding 250K and getting all sorts of subsidies as civil servants.

Make no mistake, those in power with very, very, VERY few exceptions care not one wit about anything else except keeping thier postions and easy life on taxpayers backs and i’m including both parties.

At some point this party will end as the governments will run out of ways to get your money and cyprus is showing now that it will not be a happy ending.
