Fast forward to 2012, and this is what Obama is officially bragging about on his own website!

As a Canadian I have a lot of empathy for my American friends. I have been watching a slow, but steady erosion in your freedom over the years. It scares the hell out of me, since what happens south of the 49th parallel, usually drifts north eventually. It’s getting to the point where some of my friends are avoiding to travel through the US en-route to other destinations for fear of your TSA nazis.
