America Has an Apex Predator Problem

Donna Brazile’s article published in Politico earlier today is one of the most important things written in 2017 when it comes to political impact going forward. Many have pointed out that she’s a know liar (true), and have also questioned her motivations for writing this blockbuster article. While it’s important to acknowledge these things, they aren’t particularly relevant when it comes to impact.

In no uncertain terms, Donna Brazile provides detailed claims about how the Hillary Clinton campaign nefariously bribed the DNC with tens of millions of dollars all the way back to 2015 in an attempt to take over the organization. They succeeded. This isn’t hearsay, she discusses specific campaign financing documents and when they were created. Long story short, there’s a lot of meat on the bones to these allegations, and if her claims are lies, this should be easily demonstrated and quickly. I’ll be waiting.

Personally, I think everything she alleges is probably true, and it’s absolutely devastating to the Democratic Party as well as Hillary Clinton personally. We now know for certain that the real reason Donald Trump is President has nothing to do with Russia, but everything to do with Hillary Clinton and the DNC.

Without further ado, here are some key excerpts from this absolute must read article, Inside Hillary Clinton’s Secret Takeover of the DNC:

The Saturday morning after the convention in July, I called Gary Gensler, the chief financial officer of Hillary’s campaign. He wasted no words. He told me the Democratic Party was broke and $2 million in debt.

“What?” I screamed. “I am an officer of the party and they’ve been telling us everything is fine and they were raising money with no problems.”

That wasn’t true, he said. Officials from Hillary’s campaign had taken a look at the DNC’s books. Obama left the party $24 million in debt—$15 million in bank debt and more than $8 million owed to vendors after the 2012 campaign and had been paying that off very slowly. Obama’s campaign was not scheduled to pay it off until 2016. Hillary for America (the campaign) and the Hillary Victory Fund (its joint fundraising vehicle with the DNC) had taken care of 80 percent of the remaining debt in 2016, about $10 million, and had placed the party on an allowance.

If I didn’t know about this, I assumed that none of the other officers knew about it, either. That was just Debbie’s way. In my experience she didn’t come to the officers of the DNC for advice and counsel. She seemed to make decisions on her own and let us know at the last minute what she had decided, as she had done when she told us about the hacking only minutes before the Washington Post broke the news.

On the phone Gary told me the DNC had needed a $2 million loan, which the campaign had arranged.

“No! That can’t be true!” I said. “The party cannot take out a loan without the unanimous agreement of all of the officers.”

“Gary, how did they do this without me knowing?” I asked. “I don’t know how Debbie relates to the officers,” Gary said. He described the party as fully under the control of Hillary’s campaign, which seemed to confirm the suspicions of the Bernie camp. The campaign had the DNC on life support, giving it money every month to meet its basic expenses, while the campaign was using the party as a fund-raising clearing house. Under FEC law, an individual can contribute a maximum of $2,700 directly to a presidential campaign. But the limits are much higher for contributions to state parties and a party’s national committee.

Individuals who had maxed out their $2,700 contribution limit to the campaign could write an additional check for $353,400 to the Hillary Victory Fund—that figure represented $10,000 to each of the thirty-two states’ parties who were part of the Victory Fund agreement—$320,000—and $33,400 to the DNC. The money would be deposited in the states first, and transferred to the DNC shortly after that. Money in the battleground states usually stayed in that state, but all the other states funneled that money directly to the DNC, which quickly transferred the money to Brooklyn.

It’s always the same people who scream about money laundering who do stuff like this.

“Wait,” I said. “That victory fund was supposed to be for whoever was the nominee, and the state party races. You’re telling me that Hillary has been controlling it since before she got the nomination?”…

“What’s the burn rate, Gary?” I asked. “How much money do we need every month to fund the party?”

The burn rate was $3.5 million to $4 million a month, he said.

I gasped. I had a pretty good sense of the DNC’s operations after having served as interim chair five years earlier. Back then the monthly expenses were half that. What had happened? The party chair usually shrinks the staff between presidential election campaigns, but Debbie had chosen not to do that. She had stuck lots of consultants on the DNC payroll, and Obama’s consultants were being financed by the DNC, too.

The “resistance” gravy train in action.

Right around the time of the convention, the leaked emails revealed Hillary’s campaign was grabbing money from the state parties for its own purposes, leaving the states with very little to support down-ballot races. A Politico story published on May 2, 2016, described the big fund-raising vehicle she had launched through the states the summer before, quoting a vow she had made to rebuild “the party from the ground up … when our state parties are strong, we win. That’s what will happen.”

Yet the states kept less than half of 1 percent of the $82 million they had amassed from the extravagant fund-raisers Hillary’s campaign was holding, just as Gary had described to me when he and I talked in August. When the Politico story described this arrangement as “essentially … money laundering” for the Clinton campaign, Hillary’s people were outraged at being accused of doing something shady. Bernie’s people were angry for their own reasons, saying this was part of a calculated strategy to throw the nomination to Hillary.

When I got back from a vacation in Martha’s Vineyard, I at last found the document that described it all: the Joint Fund-Raising Agreement between the DNC, the Hillary Victory Fund, and Hillary for America.

The agreement—signed by Amy Dacey, the former CEO of the DNC, and Robby Mook with a copy to Marc Elias—specified that in exchange for raising money and investing in the DNC, Hillary would control the party’s finances, strategy, and all the money raised. Her campaign had the right of refusal of who would be the party communications director, and it would make final decisions on all the other staff. The DNC also was required to consult with the campaign about all other staffing, budgeting, data, analytics, and mailings.

I had been wondering why it was that I couldn’t write a press release without passing it by Brooklyn. Well, here was the answer.

When the party chooses the nominee, the custom is that the candidate’s team starts to exercise more control over the party. If the party has an incumbent candidate, as was the case with Clinton in 1996 or Obama in 2012, this kind of arrangement is seamless because the party already is under the control of the president. When you have an open contest without an incumbent and competitive primaries, the party comes under the candidate’s control only after the nominee is certain. When I was manager of Gore’s campaign in 2000, we started inserting our people into the DNC in June. This victory fund agreement, however, had been signed in August 2015, just four months after Hillary announced her candidacy and nearly a year before she officially had the nomination.

All the way back to 2015. Simply incredible. It’s clear that Hillary had been crowned with the nomination far ahead of time, which explains the disgust and vitriol directed at the Sanders campaign. How dare they?

This story is absolutely huge. I don’t care what her motivations are, just as the source of Wikileaks’ emails is less important that what they actually say. I care about facts, and I want the American public to know exact how corrupt and shady the most powerful people in this country really are. The more minions and underlings that come out and expose the practices of their bosses, the better. I hope this is just the beginning of a trend.

America has an apex predator class that knows no political party. They are Democrats and they are Republicans. They run banks on Wall Street as well as intelligence contractors clustered around Washington D.C. They own lobbying firms and pharmaceutical companies. They are at the top of every single industry if you look closely enough, and like any apex predator, they need an endless supply of gullible and vulnerable prey.

We are the prey and it’s way past time to turn the tables on them.

  1. Well, well, well…. like Bernie folks didn’t see this happening in real time… remember the DNC computer fiasco? etc., etc. So… hopefully, this is crickets for the DNC… and Trump should be taking are of the RNC.

What is the time ripe for? ?? ?? An American Third Party… based on economic justice (out with the neolibs and the snowflakes!). Now, in light of his age, Bernie just has to find the perfect v.p……. ? Elizabeth Warren? Sherrod Brown? Oregon senators? ?? AND the vote rigging has to be squashed, including Crosscheck, ID idiocy, electronic ‘patching, bribed St. Auditors, etc. (Many” of us have been seeing that for a long time.. back to Sununu ’88 in VT.. check Greg Palast)

And we’ll have to brace ourselves for apex-predator terrorism… we’ve seen what they can and will do…bio-, nuclear-, racial, assassination, psyops, wars, false flags, etc. (They hire the ‘best’.) So… what is our slogan… er, meme? ‘The 99% Party?’ ‘The American Union Party’ ‘The FDR / Eisenhower Party” “Let’s Win the Class War… for Us!” “Americans Are Better Together!”

(Wow! Maybe God really is on our side…first Bernie, now party self-immolation…. btw, for those who think human nature is irredeemable, pls skim “A Paradise Built in Hell”.)

  2. A quick search of the NYT home page right now shows ZERO mention of the name “Brazile” but 29 mentions of “Trump”.

WaPo does have a single hit on her, buried down the page.

  3. (IF there was an ‘edit’ function, I’d stop) More slogans/memes “United We Stand – Divided We Fall” “Let’s think about our kids’ future, for a change.”

Yea, BradK… I saw on CNN crawler 2 hrs ago… and nothing on their website. And no Dems commenting: “Hows enriching the rich working in Kansas?” or “When has trickle down EVER worked?” or “The 1% are sitting on a mountain of money right now… see any investment in us or production? no, just in tax shelters, stock buybacks, real estate, luxuries etc”

  4. One thing that bothers me here is that Brazile repeats the lie that Russians hackers stole their emails. This is demonstrably false; they were leaked by an insider. So, yes, this story is big, but what else is Brazile lying about?

    • Thank you, Rice Farmer, for saving me the trouble of pointing out that little tidbit. Even Obama has called the email release a “leak.”

  5. I’ve said ever since the election that it wasn’t as much that people voted for Trump as it was that the people voted AGAINST Hillary.
I think that if either Bernie Sanders or Jim Webb had been the nominee that they would have beaten Trump.

  6. Debbie Wasserman Shultz is a member of the Rockefeller CFR along with “apex predators” Bill Clinton, Lloyd Blankfein, David Rubenstein and George Soros. See lists in the CFR annual report.

“It’s good to have an outpost of the Council right here down the street from the State Department. We get a lot of ‘advice’ from the Council, so this will mean I won’t have as far to go to be told what we should be doing and how we should think about the future.”

  7. What can I say? All of it is disgusting.

The CFR is a propaganda building organization for the Elites. The Clinton’s are paid actors to run for office. The Elites pass down there orders to Shulz, Clintons, Obama, 90% of the news media and such that they own. Orders are passed through the CFR from the Elites and down to its bought and paid for minions.

  8. The Oligarchy think democracy should be run like a movie script to feed to the masses, to control them to vote the way they want. Its all scripted. It starts with picking the candidates. All the candidates are chosen ahead of time by the Elites. This way no matter who wins, the elites get there way. If anybody steps out of line then the elites threaten to cut off the spigot of money free flowing from the coffers of the lobbyists.

  9. And the sad thing about all of this, many of the Global elites pulling the strings at the very top and who own the FED and control the CFR aren’t even Americans!!! That is why they dont really care much when American manufacturing gets gutted or we harmonize our patent system to work like everyone else’s when our patent system was the worlds best and delivered the best technology.

  10. So….. I guess ‘our’ consensus is … give up! it is hopeless!! let’s just try to find nourishment in our thin ‘ain’t-it-awful’ gruel, simmered on the weak flame of our self righteousness. Wait for the tru ly desperate to take a futile stab at action …. continue to stiffen in our paralysis of despair … … ? Turn our face to the wall, and let the next generation struggle out of the mess we left them? ??

    • Nancy, sometimes it’s best to do nothing other than quietly observe.

      I.E-

“Never interfere with the enemy when he is in the process of destroying himself.”

Brazille is doing the only thing she can do to try to cast herself as an innocent bystander because there is never any honor among thieves.

      So let her!

    • Nancy,

We are the “Movers and Shakers of Society” First we “Shake things up” and then move things forward in the right direction. We dont give up. We fight for what is right!!! I have been through this before. As President of the Inventors Assoc of Connecticut, I organized a team of local inventors. We made phone calls and wrote letters to our state representatives in congress and the senate. As a member of a local Solar organization, I personally joined a group of people that physically went to the Connecticut State Capital during certain meetings and worked as a lobbyist for free to try and get Solar Thermal and other Solar projects in Ct. I didn’t have any money to bribe anybody so I just had to find other ways to be persuasive. I talked the head of the Solar program for CT, Dave Lindquist into recommending some boiler controls to a politician. I was known through the state of ct and the politician once called me when writing a bill on outdoor reset controls for boilers. They reduce huge chunks of CO2. He changed the bill on my recommendations making it better.

I donated to Bernie Sanders and I wore a Bernie T-shirt around town and talked to anybody that would listen. I donated to a group called the Justice Democrats because they refuse to take any money from the big guys. I have done even more but dont have time to keep writing here.

Also if anybody here wants to get involved and organize a work group, I am all for that and am willing to get involved as long as it is constructive and not destructive in nature.

    • In my experience in order to get the masses to do anything constructive in the right direction you have to shake them up by pointing out just how bad things really are. You have to get people mad enough to do something.

  11. Whose advocating silencing Brazile? I’m advocating Thinking Ahead. Rest assured the P.A.s are doing that right now… how to shape whatever happens to their advantage. But ‘commoners’ are typically caught flatfooted and agape… reaching blindly for ancient pie-in-the-sky, politically divisive, utopian, etc. ideas. I’ve run across interesting affordable, feasible ideas that might just be waiting for the castle walls to fall, for the non-choir to ‘see’ them, and appreciate their appeal. The more of these ideas are to hand the better. I think Michael is trying to point to Possibilities and Potentialities, to start us ‘thinking ahead’. (I may have been more excited than he about Bitcoin, etc 🙂

Buckminster Fuller (folks here too young to appreciate him, possibly) was smarter and more experienced than most, and his quote on the How To for making change should be taken as gospel truth. As I’m the only independent ‘lefty’ who thinks this is important, then obviously sharing any ideas I’ve run across, is futile.

  13. Hey Michael,
Gotta admit I read this confession with glee. Wonder if she’s been planning it ever since Hillary called her a brain dead buffalo when Matt Lauer went off the reservation (assuming that’s true…).
    https://70news.wordpress.com/2016/10/17/hillary-clintons-meltdown-calls-dnc-chair-donna-brazile-brain-dead-buffalo-and-tells-matt-lauer-hes-finished-if-trump-wins-after-rogue-email-question-during-presidential-forum/

I encourage you to interview Jared & Elizabeth Beck, the legal team that represented Bernie contributors in their suit against the DNC. The judge frankly admitted that the plaintiffs made their case but didn’t think the courtroom was the place to receive justice. I believe the Becks are going to appeal, and this admission by Brazile can only help. Jared just released a book on what *really* happened….

Lotsa good stuff on Beck’s twitter:

And Elizabeth’s makes me laugh every day:

  14. This could be a guilty conscience at work. Consider that Brazille has a guilty conscience about what happened to Seth Rich. She was not there at the time, but if she was in the know, she may be hoping to provide the opening information to bring the murderers down. At the least her revelations prove once and for all Rich’s motive (as a Bernie supporter) for him leaking the files.

  15. The DNC was $2 million in debt, and had a burn rate of $3 million/month, yet nobody knows where $12 million came from to pay for a made up Fusion GPS dossier?

Hillary controlled $82 million collected from state campaigns, but nobody knows where $12 million for the Fusion GPS dossier came from.

Some forensic accountants should be able to get to the bottom of this, if the records haven’t been destroyed yet.

Democrats want to abolish the Electoral College, but they’re still fine with the Superdelegate system in their own party primaries????

We should teach the kids how to research the facts on the internet. We should teach the kids how to draw conclusions based on evidence and not the opinions of some so called experts from the media.

  17. Overall, much to agree with here, except for this:

“We now know for certain that the real reason Donald Trump is President has *****nothing**** to do with Russia. ”

While Hillary’s arrogance was the biggest reason for her loss, you can’t say that 127 million on-line Russian ad views (many false) did not have an effect.
