Last night, as I reflected on my recent three-part series filled with bold predictions, I began to question whether or not I was being too negative. Upon hearing Trump’s Iran speech today, I became convinced that everything I wrote had merit.
The speech was downright terrifying, serving to confirm all my worst fears about what he’s up to in the Middle East. There’s no way you can listen to that disingenuous rant and not recognize that he’s already made up his mind about war with Iran. What comes next will be a series of U.S. imposed redlines and demands, which Iran will eventually be said to violate, at which point the U.S. will escalate bigly.
I expect the most wretched cretins in America to rally behind the coming war push, including much of the corporate media. We already saw evidence of this earlier today.
Many of you will accuse me of exhibiting unwarranted confidence about where all this is headed, but it’s not that. The reason I feel so strongly about this forecast is because war with Iran has been planned for decades.

IIRC, we learned after the fact, that a year prior to the Iraq ‘shock and awe’ invasion, General Franks (sp?) was overseeing the shipment of war materiel, etc to the vicinity of Iraq. You have to be kinda ready to start a war! Our (US & world’s) protests came late, in the wake of the ‘hidden’ preparations.. but there must have been military (and other) folks who knew about the preparations. Yes, numerous people have spoken of the neocon plan to invade Iran (among other nations). Now openly joined by their neoliberal BFFs it will be difficult to stop this war.
However, I see some possible policy changes due to the sexual allegations coming out right now. I am very happy that those who were abused feel a little freer to come forward. I hope they receive justice. But there is something else about these allegations–they will bring down political “deciders”.
Hollywood and politics are joined at the hip. Where people may ignore or be conned into going to war, people will not readily ignore the abuse of women, men and children which is coming into the open at this time.
I am certain this abuse goes to the top of the corporations and political figures of this nation. It will be interesting to see what happens to their plans for world domination when their evil, ugly souls are revealed in ways people understand and will stand against.
Further, the US doesn’t own all its allies as before. We have lost a lot of credibility. Obama made war, torture, starvation, mass surveillance and unspeakable cruelty, “cool”. Trump just isn’t cool like that. He may not get as far as his handlers would like. That, and he’s messing with nations who can fight back.
Jill, what comes to mind is “The Franklin Coverup” about Larry King and his group he served with pedophilia, drugs, satanic rituals, etc. and those involved, including FBI, and Pres. Poppy Bush. It would bring down the lot of them if we only had honest judges. However, would only do so under God’s guidance, for they like to suicide a lot of people.

I do believe its time to stop hoping that Washington D.C. has our answers (Bernie Included), its time to face the facts, question our belief structures (specifically the democratic process of voting for career politicians). It may be hard to face the fact that the system we all grew up with is beyond repair but thats just it, it (the system) is the problem, a new candidate is not the answer. Acceptance of the situation. Let us turn our backs on those who turned their backs on us.

The system is fixable but not enough people realize how screwed up the system is or how dire the situation is. It has to get much worse before enough people are willing to make a change. Even then they may listen to the wrong source and choose some charismatic leader with evil intentions.
The biggest problem is the lobbyists and the amount of money that the Elites have to spread as influence to control politicians and the populace. They have more than half of America’s entire money supply.
If everyone in America just suddenly came to there senses and realized that the politicians were turning everyone into a bunch of surfs for the benefit of a few extremely wealthy families. Then the majority joined a new political party that refuses to take big doner money. Picks many politicians to run against the establishment with the intention of getting the money focused lobbyist banned by new rules and replaced by lobbyists focused on pleasing the majority of the people this would all end soon. Rules banning money in politics will quickly fix most of our problems. As simple as this sounds it is extremely difficult to overcome because of the huge somes of money the elite control. The damage they did spans a hundred years. It would take many years to implement all the changes and see the results. Quickly in a timeline of a hundred years is decades. It could take decades to fix the problem. The problem started with the FED bank and most of the money in America is being held by the grandchildren of the original families that owned the FED when it was created.
85% of the politicians time is spent in front of a lobbyist of some sort. The goal of the politician is to collect as much money as possible to increase campaign funding and personal wealth. The lobbyists are holding that money and have access to more. So the politician can’t even hear what the majority of the people want. They can only hear what the lobbyists want. And the politicians success depends on what they do for said lobbyists.
Many on the alt right and alt left realize that we need to get rid of the Elites power. Together they might pose a powerful enough force. The problem is that the current choice of alt political parties only appealing to those interested in a small theme like the libertarian or green parties.
We need a new political party with the theme to get the money out of politics that is appealing to both the alt left and right.

I agree with many of your points and the very serious problem of lobbyists is certainly a real issue. Like you said, I don’t think anything will really change until things become so grave you can’t ignore it.
I think a decentralized, bottom up form of social organizing would be a better way to deal with the many things people require in a society. A less debt enslaved population, not forced to work their lives away, being bombarded with constant mindless entertainment to supposedly relax may bring the zombies back from the dead, maybe this would be enough motivation to become active voluntary participants in their communities.
As far as a federal government, extremely limited in its scope would be a must, and the absolute most dire consequences for those who are caught trespassing against their duties. Return the law to a common law system and do away with statutory law as much as possible. Remove Washington D.C. from being the power center and break up all monopolized centers of power, executive, corporate, banking, finance etc. Enforce a Vietnam style system of consequences for financial crimes and put an end as much as possible to this insane system of rewarding criminal behavior.

What goes around comes around. Morality and integrity are very important to a successful society. If everybody with power has the goal to make the world a better pace then the world becomes a better place. If everyone in power is greedy and selfish and has a goal to be come richer and more powerful without worrying about the consequences then the world becomes a worse place. Right now the level of corruption is very high. It is cause and effect. If a CEO has his company buy stock back instead of spending the money to make the company stronger then the company eventually becomes debt burdened and weaker. If enough greedy and selfish CEO’s do the same thing then the whole country gets weaker. Getting rid of a industrial base weakens a technological development. Strong technological development wins wars. Starting wars kills people and with out a Superior force because you weakened your countries technical development will cause your own people to be killed and cause extreme misery when they are forced to pay for a losing war.
All this does come down to good vrs evil. Good leaders make a country stronger. Evil leaders eventually destroy what they create, It may take time to materialize but in the end and over history it is true. Back to Iran and war. The .00001% that are pulling those strings are quite aware of that knowledge. They are also aware that they have a choice (free will) to serve their own interests or to serve the interests of others.
But they have chosen the former, rather than the latter, for now. They are also aware that the path of self service only goes so far before it reaches a dead end. That is their choice. If that is the route they want to take, that’s no ones concern but theirs. However, if you make their choice your concern, then you give relinquish your own power.
So “Judge not, lest you be judged”.
The Elites have set up politics through rules and regulation to control the people and gain what they want. The campaign and lobbyist system is set up to encourage greed. Greed is the quickest and easiest path to success. Money is used to feed greed in the political system. The Elites have more than 50% of all the money. They use this money as a tool to buy our country. In our current system greedy (Greed is a form of evil) politicians do what the lobbyists want and get rewarded by excessive amounts of money. Good politicians don’t get ahead because they don’t take the money that comes from evil sources and thus have less money to use in campaigns. Less people in the public are aware of the good politician because they don’t hear much about him. So the good politician loses and the evil politician wins. This is a never ending circle.
We need to break a link in this circle!!! Bernie Sanders refused to take money from these Elites and he almost won!! He proved that it is possible!!

Stan, Jimmy Carter was a total and complete neophyte when it came to foreign policy and he made the huge mistake of relying on Zbigniew Brzezinski as his National Security Advisor to craft and oversee his foreign policy decisions during his Presidency.
Brzezinski was an extreme Russia-phobe, and he thought that by ousting the Shah and bringing in the Ayotollah he could undo the Soviet Union’s increasing influence with the Shah and therefore Iran.
Obviously that backfired in a large way. But the Shah was a greedy tyrant. So the Carter administration, with the help of the MSM at the time had what was supposed to be the moral high ground. However, once the Ayatollah took power it was say hello to the new tyrant.
As a lifelong Georgian, I can tell you that Jimmy never really got over the fact that Lester Maddox (his successor as Governor of Georgia) was elected and then ended up being a far better Governor than Carter ever was.
Maddox had been an avowed segregationist for most of his life. But he had seen the error of his ways and completely turned around his views on race, and backed that up with his actions as Governor.
Another thing about Carter. His entire bleeding heart liberal persona that he carefully created after he lost to Reagan, is bullshit.
