  1. Re #3, Matt Stoller and WaPo

    What a guy!

Now i only can wonder how he practically wants to implement his trivia.
If “public sector” is already corporately owned, how can he make that very “public sector” starts controlling and cutting “corporate sector” to size?
Except for calling Raul Castro to rule.

  2. Re #1, Cory Doctorow at /. and Boing

It is like doping drugs, while having disastrous long term effects, they may give real boost short term.

When CD looks at this from a peaceful netizen perspective, that is bordering with insanity, okay. In a span of 10-20 years it would make online business and software development in English-speaking states handicapped to the brink of existence.

But is there any problem in it?

What did you say, “brace for impact”?
If impact is inevitable, then maybe you can at least steer to the chosen place of impact?
If your car slides on icy road out of control, where would you like it to top, on the opposite traffic lane, on some light pole on thw shoulder, or in the snow field over the shoulder?

If the Empire of English-speaking nations is going to WW3 as their chosen target to impact, then mandating total control over citizens communication is not a stupidity but the only rational and unavoidable choice they have to make no matter if they or voters like it or not.

  3. If I may hijack this thread to white knight a little bit…

Michael’s probably too polite to make this comment, but the Patreon response has been, shall we say, “a little thin” so far. Maybe the other means (paypal, bitcoin) have been stronger, I can’t tell.

Can you please consider supporting Liberty Blitzkrieg with a monthly pledge? I know, personally, without this insight and commentary, I would be significantly less informed.

If you’re waiting for other readers to jump in and support this excellent independent media, don’t. You can pledge less than the recommended $5/month if you’d like.

    No affiliation, just another reader.
