On January 13, 2017, German journalist Udo Ulfkotte died of a heart attack. Long-time readers of Liberty Blitzkrieg will remember his name since he went public with explosive claims about how the CIA manipulates and controls much of Western media.
Here are a few excerpts from the 2014 post, “Non-Official Cover” – Respected German Journalist Blows Whistle on How the CIA Controls the Media.
“I was bribed by billionaires, I was bribed by the Americans to report…not exactly the truth.”
– Udo Ulfkotte, a former editor of one of Germany’s main daily publications, Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung
This is where the concept of “non-official cover” comes into play. The term was recently described by German journalist Udo Ulfkotte, in a blistering RT interview. Mr. Ulfkotte was previously a respected journalist for one of Germany’s main dailies, Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung (FAZ), so he is no small fry.
“Non-official cover” occurs when a journalist is essentially working for the CIA, but it’s not in an official capacity. This allows both parties to reap the rewards of the partnership, while at the same time giving both sides plausible deniability. The CIA will find young journalists and mentor them. Suddenly doors will open up, rewards will be given, and before you know it, you owe your entire career to them. That’s essentially how it works. But don’t take it from me…
Mr. Ulfkotte’s death was reported by Spiegel, which went out of its way to make him look as bad as possible. He apparently had a history of heart attacks. The below is from Spiegel courtesy of Google translate.
The controversial book author and political activist Udo Ulfkotte has died. He succumbed to a heart attack on Friday, as his SPIEGEL ONLINE family confirmed. The former editor of the “Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung” (FAZ), which already had several heart attacks, became 56 years old.

For certain it is good to hear both sides of the story. I for one, based on my experience, think there is a high probability that some truth can be found in Udo Ulfkotte’s writing.
A friend of mine who was in the CIA told me the CIA has microwave weapons(gun like) that can cause heart attackts from upto 100yards away.
And this was years ago- weapons are now probably much better/improved for these kind of hit jobs!
I would say at 56 and given his work, his death is highly suspicious. I would be interested to hear what his family say about his passing.
A year or two ago when he was making headlines for his admissions, he himself mentioned that he had heart problems and did not expect to live long, so felt little fear of finally telling the truth about the CIA.
If you search youtube for interviews with him at this time, I think you will find him saying this. He was witness to Iraqi gas attacks on the Iranians, I believe he said, and he attributed the heart problems to this, as I recall.
In this one, for instance, at about 2:50 he talks of the gas attacks, and in the last 30 or 40 seconds of the video he mentions he had 3 heart attacks prior, and no children, he was sick of being a shill, so he spoke out.

He doesn’t connect the gas attacks to his heart condition in this interview, but I seem to recall him doing so in another interview I heard with him.
He died once with honour, the likes of Der Spiegel dies everyday without honour.
