The Dirty Business of U.S. ‘Think Tanks’

Screen Shot 2016-08-09 at 11.23.00 AM

Many of you have already read this past Sunday’s excellent and deeply disturbing article published by the New York Times regarding the shady and inappropriate activities regularly conducted by U.S. “think tanks.” If you haven’t read it yet, I highly suggest you take the time to do so.

It’s important to acknowledge that the U.S. economy has morphed into one gigantic lawless crime scene. An environment in which crony insiders who add zero value to society parasitically feast on the country’s treasure. In the case of so-called “think tanks,” we have organizations receiving copious taxpayer subsidies for the privilege of screwing over the American public.

To understand the topic further, I present you with some excerpts from the article titled, Researchers or Corporate Allies? Think Tanks Blur the Line:

Black Pastors Across America Are Breaking the Law to Help Promote Hillary Clinton

Screen Shot 2016-07-13 at 10.50.51 AM

Last night, I came across a very interesting article published in the Atlantic which highlighted the fact that according to a recent Pew Research survey, “28 percent of those who have attended black Protestant churches in the last few months heard their pastor support Hillary Clinton.” This is a pretty remarkable statistic considering it is illegal to do so.

Which brings up a related question. To what extent did this phenomenon play a role in Hillary Clinton’s sweeping victories across the south versus Bernie Sanders during the Democratic primary?

Here are a few excerpts from the Atlantic article:

Meet the Company That Claims to Have a Profile on Every American Adult

Screen Shot 2016-08-08 at 2.56.30 PM

Below are a few excerpts from an article recently published by Bloomberg. At the very least, it’s something to be aware of.

From Bloomberg:

Forget telephoto lenses and fake mustaches: The most important tools for America’s 35,000 private investigators are database subscription services. For more than a decade, professional snoops have been able to search troves of public and nonpublic records—known addresses, DMV records, photographs of a person’s car—and condense them into comprehensive reports costing as little as $10. Now they can combine that information with the kinds of things marketers know about you, such as which politicians you donate to, what you spend on groceries, and whether it’s weird that you ate in last night, to create a portrait of your life and predict your behavior.

Why Isn’t the Media Covering Hillary Clinton’s Extremely Bizarre Behavior?

Screen Shot 2016-08-08 at 10.44.42 AM

On December 27, 2015 Dilbert creator Scott Adams wrote the following on his blog.

One of the skills a hypnotist has to master is reading people’s inner thoughts based on their body language. That’s a common skill for people in the business world too, but hypnotists go deeper than looking at crossed arms and furrowed brows. We learn to look for subtle changes in breathing patterns, tiny changes in muscle tone, variations in skin color (blushing or not), word choice, pupil dilation, and more. I assume law enforcement people look for similar tells when doing interrogations.

As regular readers know, I’m a trained hypnotist. And to me, Hillary Clinton looks as if she is hiding a major health issue. If you read Malcolm Gladwell’s book, Blink, you know that so-called “experts” can sometimes instantly make decisions before they know why. In my case, I am going to make an “expert” hypnotist prediction about Hillary Clinton without knowing exactly which clues I am picking up, or whether I am hallucinating them.

Prediction: I’ll put the odds at 75% that we learn of an important Clinton health issue before the general election. That estimate is based on my own track record of guessing things about people without the benefit of knowing why. I think Trump is picking up the same vibe. He has already questioned Clinton’s “stamina.”

That was a pretty bold prediction at the time, and it looks like it might be coming true.

When I first saw the video below, of Hillary Clinton deflecting a question about Elizabeth Warren by wildly bobbing her head in two distinct spasms, I merely dismissed it as a faked video edited to make her look crazy. This is why I never shared or commented on it. I assumed there was no way Hillary Clinton actually acted like that in public, especially in front of reporters.

New York Times Fails to Disclose Op-Ed Writer’s Ties to Hillary Clinton’s ‘Principal Gatekeeper’

Screen Shot 2016-08-05 at 2.21.30 PM

Today, everyone is talking about Michael Morell’s Op-Ed in the New York Times in which the former acting director of the CIA strongly endorses Hillary Clinton while calling Donald Trump “an unwitting agent of the Russian Federation.”

At the end of the piece the New York Times informs readers that:

Michael J. Morell was the acting director and deputy director of the Central Intelligence Agency from 2010 to 2013.

That’s a pretty brief bio and leaves out some material information about what the man’s been up to since. For example, Mr. Morell is a Senior Counselor for D.C.-based international consulting firm, Beacon Global Strategies. So who runs Beacon Global Strategies?

Well, one of its founders is a man named Philippe Reines. Here’s an excerpt from his bio:

An Update on the Obamacare Disaster

Screen Shot 2016-08-05 at 1.08.46 PM

An architect of the federal healthcare law said last year that a “lack of transparency” and the “stupidity of the American voter” helped Congress approve ObamaCare.

He suggested that many lawmakers and voters didn’t know what was in the law or how its financing worked, and that this helped it win approval.

– From the post: Video of the Day – Obamacare Architect Credits “Lack of Transparency” and “Stupidity of the American People” for Passage of Healthcare Law

2017 is shaping up to be a very, very ugly year for Obamacare. A year in which it may become obvious to all that the entire thing is an unredeemable failure.

Many of you surely have been paying attention to headlines regarding insurers fleeing the Affordable Care Act (ACA) exchanges due to major financial losses (despite huge premium hikes), but you may still not recognize how bad the situation really is.

Pew Research Survey Points to Widespread Angst About How the EU is Handling the Refugee Crisis

Screen Shot 2016-08-04 at 1.35.08 PM

When the history books are finally written, I believe the tone-deaf handling of the refugee crisis by EU bureaucrats will be seen as one of the primary catalysts in the ultimate disintegration of the European Union.

Although I knew many millions across the eurozone were irate about how the refugee crisis was being handled, I had no idea how irate they were until I read the results of a recent survey by the Pew Research Center.

Below are some of the shocking findings.

U.S. Government to Lift Ban on Part-Human, Part-Animal Embryos

Screen Shot 2016-08-04 at 8.51.52 AM

Here’s your feel good story of the day…

From an NPR article published this morning:

The federal government announced plans Thursday to lift a moratorium on funding of controversial experiments that use human stem cells to create animal embryos that are partly human.

The National Institutes of Health is proposing a new policy to permit scientists to get federal money to make embryos, known as chimeras, under certain carefully monitored conditions.

The NIH imposed a moratorium on funding these experiments in September because they could raise ethical concerns.

Artist Suspended from Instagram After Posting Parody Art of Hillary Clinton

Screen Shot 2016-08-03 at 11.38.32 AM

Here’s another disturbing act of what appears to be blatant political bias by the Facebook behemoth (Facebook owns Instagram).

From 9 News in Australia:

Controversial Melbourne street artist, Lushsux, has been removed from Instagram following a provocative mural of Democratic nominee, Hillary Clinton.

Lushsux reportedly awoke this morning to find his account had been wiped from the popular social media site.

He had more than 100,000 Instagram followers and has been painting for around 16 years.
