  1. Mike, that article at the Guardian inspires one huge feeling of ambivalence.

On the good side, the author makes the shockingly unorthodox admission that people are not idiots because they support Trump. Tellingly, one has to go to the web site of a U.K. newspaper to find it.

On the bad side, the article, for the most part, acts as though Trump has occurred in a vacuum. American workers haven’t just now been ignored by the elitist parasites of the U.S.. It’s been that way for 20+ years. And, accepting the false dichotomy of red team versus blue team for the moment, the blue team has presented the candidate most arrogantly indifferent to the middle class that they have perhaps ever put forth.

  2. read the comments..and watch the interview…
On GPS today at 10 am + 1 pm ET on CNN: Goldman Sachs CEO Lloyd Blankfein discusses U.S. economy, Wall Street regulation, Hillary Clinton
    https://twitter.com/FareedZakaria/status/789946029969989636

In the CNN interview, Blankfein pitched his firm’s relationship with the Clintons as part of doing business. He pointed out that Clinton had been a New York senator and said Goldman regularly engages with a host of public officials in the state where it’s headquartered.

“I go out and I meet with editors of newspapers,” he said. “I meet with Republican leaders. It’s necessary for us to do that.”

He expressed confidence Clinton would win the election in November.

“If the worst thing was that we have a history of having engaged positively with Hillary Clinton, that’s not going to annoy me,” Blankfein said.

In the course of interview Blankfein states they were investigated very thoroughly..no criminal behavior…which parallels with the Clintons….and white washes all wrongs in the long run and sets a precedent for the future…Winning!
