The Adoption Continues – PC Game Supply is Now Accepting Bitcoin

Bitcoin adoption continues to run at a very solid clip (a Subway in Pennsylvania is now accepting it), and I think could take off shortly given my view that the Senate hearings on virtual currencies may be seen as a green light to accept the currency for hesitant retailers. The latest good news on this front is the announcement that PC Game Supply is now accepting Bitcoin. So what is PC Game Supply? It describes itself as:

PC Game Supply is the leading retailer of digitally delivered PC Games, Xbox and Playstation Cards.

In fact, if you go to the Canadian based company’s website, this is what you will see.

Get used to seeing a lot more of this. The story was also covered by Yahoo! Finance:

CALGARY, AB, Nov. 19, 2013 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) — via PRWEB – PC Game Supply, an online retailer specializing in the digital delivery of game and gift card products, now accepts Bitcoin. Customers from around the globe can now acquire the world’s most popular game and gift card products with Bitcoins.

“The partnership with BitPay and PC Game Supply will provide Bitcoin holders access to the world’s most popular game and gift card products with instant digital delivery.” Bitcoins are instantaneous and irreversible so there can be no chargebacks without the merchant’s consent. “The Bitpay payment option is the perfect solution for online merchants,” says Chris Letendre, CEO of PC Game Supply.
