Providence: An Incredible 5 Minute Film by Laura Poitras

I first became aware of Laura Poitras when I watched her eye-opening video about NSA whistleblower William Binney.  I was so impressed by her interview that I wrote about it and posted it on my website in the article: The NSA is Completely and Totally Out of Control…Very Important Video.  Well Laura is back, and she absolutely knocks it out of the park with the video that provides clips of Bradley Manning in his own words from a leaked audio recording from his trial.

It has become completely clear to me that the biggest lesson the military-industrial complex learned from Vietnam is that journalists should never be allowed to report genuinely on war.  At the end of the day, that is why what Bradley Manning did was so important and why he is a hero for it.

  1. I ask of the US Government, who exactly is the enemy? What enemy did Manning allegedly assist? And is not aiding and abetting an international banking cartel in the destruction of our currency and thus deliberately creating the massive widespread human misery that will result a direct act of treason? If Bradley Manning’s “crime” should result in life in prison, what punishment does your crime solicit?

    • The only people he aided was the American people which became more aware of the military atrocities and terrorism their own gov. is inflicting upon innocents all over the globe.

The gov. stating Manning is aiding the enemy is really a statement that the American people are the enemy in the eyes of the gov. That’s a strong statement which only a tyrannical, out of control regime would make.

The gov. doesn’t like their dirty laundry being aired in public view. But their actions are so unconscionable, immoral, with a total lack of human compassion that people are waking up and saying “no more” and they are doing something about it.

They can’t put everyone in jail like they did Manning. The more people speak up and whistle blow the better it will be.

Light has to shine on darkness regardless of threats or consequences.
