The organization P.A.N.D.A. (People Against the NDAA) is one of the groups leading the charge against the extremely dangerous Section 1021 of the National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA). This section essentially destroys the entire Bill of Rights of the Constitution and must be fought in any way possible. I have highlighted the NDAA lawsuit against the Obama Administration on several occasions, but what I have not done yet is showcase the actions being taken and victories achieved by P.A.N.D.A. at the state level. With an important vote coming up in Colorado to nullify the egregious section, this is the perfect time.
The bill to stop the NDAA in Colorado is called HB-1045 and it was introduced by former police officer, Representative Jared Wright. It successfully made it out of committee on February 18th, and now all of us must do all we can to make sure it passes. Below are some suggestions from the folks at P.A.N.D.A., as well as the contact information for the various representatives. Please let them know where you stand!
HB 1045 would restore the protections in the Bill of Rights for the people of Colorado, prohibit any person in the state from being indefinitely detained, and prohibit any person from applying the “laws of war” including detention and execution, in Colorado.
Now, according our sources, Rep. Bob Gardner will attempt to crush the bill on the House floor. Rep. Gardner will attempt to kill the liberty of the people of Colorado, to violate his oath to the Constitution both as a representative and as a veteran of the United States Air Force, and allow the President of the United States to detain, and even execute, any person in Colorado.
Colorado, you have have awakened the sleeping giant. Now, We the People will respond.
According to our sources, we almost have the votes needed to pass. HB 1045 is scheduled for a vote on Monday, February 25th. If we bring enough pressure to Colorado this weekend, if we flood the inboxes, phone lines, and desks of these representatives with phone calls and emails, we can win this state back for liberty.
With your help, we won huge victories in Indiana, Montana, and Arizona. now, it’s time to bring that pressure to the Evergreen State.

I hope you support HB 1045. You should honor your oath to office and
protect the civil liberties of people in Colorado. If you do not support
HB-1045, you are a traitor to this country, no different than the
criminals in DC and deserve no respect whatsoever.
The fact that we have to waste time, money, effort all across this
nation to restore rights we already have guaranteed to us by the
constitution and bill of rights is absolutely pathetic.
