A New Year’s Message

“The Dalai Lama, when asked what surprised him most about humanity, answered, ‘Man. Because he sacrifices his health in order to make money. Then he sacrifices money to recuperate his health. And then he is so anxious about the future that he does not enjoy the present; the result being that he does not live in the the present or the future; he lives as if he is never going to die, and then dies having never really lived.’”

Make life count in 2013 everybody.  Health, success and happiness.

  1. Wishes for 2013 ? That someone somewhere starts arestinng banksters and put them in prison for life. Whats surprising about humanity is how people still tolerate tyrants instead of arresting them and hanging them for crimes against humanity. And I am not talking just about Assad but also Obama by the way and the real tyrants from Wall Street.

  3. Wonderful heart-stirring quote from a beautiful human being trying to help better the planet. I travelled with the Dalai Lama as security escort in the 1990s. I always tell those who ask me what he’s really like, “He is one of the few world figures I have met who totally lives up to his billing.” Ethics and blessing in action.
