This was ICE or INS checkpoint…not uncommon if traveling across state lines…I dont like it either but this was not just cops at a random checkpoint…

What areas of the country are these checkpoints being set up in? I’ve travel pretty extensively by road and have only been stopped once (in Tennessee) in over a period of six years.
two that I know of are 1 just east of Yuma AZ on I8 (heading east ), and 1 about 10-20 miles north of Las Cruces on I25 ( heading north ). They might have drug sniffing dogs also sometimes.

Even though they let him through, he may have just gotten a label as “uncooperative” or “confrontational” in a federal data base. This may appear on a TSA data screen if he flies anywhere. Or the next time he has an encounter with authorities who run his vehicle license plate.

My bet is this is I-10 between Yuma AZ and the CA border. I drove from Phoenix to San Diego once a year and a half ago, and was stopped at 3 check points. They never asked if I was a US citizen, but that was before Nazi AZ state bill 1070 was upheld!

you can also opt out of the radiation treatment the tsa gives you at the airport. YOU ARE NOT REQUIRED TO BE HEARDED THROUGH THE DAMN RADIATION!! Just tell them you opt out and you will be sent to go through the regular metal detector. Yah there’s no sign advertising this, but that’s what they want you to do.. I opt out for me and my family all the time as I watch all the sheeple hurd through the machine.. makes me sick to see americans give up so easy!

Anyone can refuse to comply but no one has a right to drive. A real LEO would have asked for his driving credentials. Failure to provide them is a crime.
Check points are legal for various reasons.
A driver doesn’t need to know what that reason is.

They have zero authority when dealing with a citizen. The question you need to be asking is what the hell is a border checkpoint doing 40 miles from the border?! Get these thugs off the highway and put them on the border and let them do what they are supposed to be doing, stop illegal border crossings, or potential Obama voters from coming across in the first place.

I do feel the TSA needs to be done away with and more profiling needs to be done to protect Americans. That won’t happen until the White house and the DOJ changes hands.There are reasons theses guys are not on the border and are located in other locations.
